South Platte Cabins and Kennels invites you & your hunting partners to join on the beautiful South Platte River for an experience you will remember for years to come. Our cabins overlook a 5 acre private lake that borders the South Platte river, an area well known by hunters world wide.

In close proximity to some the best goose, duck, and pheasant hunting areas in the nation, you will be able to spend your off hunting time in leisurely comfort.

We are located behind the Holiday Inn Express in Ogallala, NE. This is northeast of the I-80 and hwy 61 junction on Stagecoach Drive 3/4-mile, past two gas stations and a McDonald's.

Ogallala sits 7 miles south of the 'Mighty Mac' or Lake McConaughy. Inclued in the background is a map to give you some perspective on the possibilities to adventure.

Built in 2007, our cabins provide you with all the amenities plus a complimentary breakfast to start your day off right. There is also a 4 acre lake that has a trail around it so you can stretch and workout your dog or relax.

For those hunters with dogs, we have provided kennels right at the cabins for your canines safety, comfort and security.
